Default Backup Lights Not Working

I got a 5th Gen ('99) prelude base 5 speed. a couple of months ago I noticed my backup lights stopped working. I figured it was just burnt out bulbs because all other lights work fine... tail lights (without brakes) brake lights, turn signals. Only the white backup/reverse lights don't work. So the other day I bought new bulbs and popped them in. Still no backup lights. Do they have a dedicated fuse or something? Can't think of what else would cause them to just stop working suddenly.

Check the reverse switch on the tranny.

That was it, thanks. The sensor is fine but one of the wires broke in half. Just had to splice it back together
