SOLD!!!
-This is my girlfriend's spring/summer daily driver. The car has NEVER seen snow or salt.
-No rust. Epoxy coated wheel wells to protect it from chips.
-Very good to excellent overall conditon.
-NO accidents! Clean carfax. All body panels, engine, and trans are VIN matching.
-Completely stock.
-Tires are in great shape and are nitrogen filled (you can put in regular air too).
-Brakes are almost new (Stoptech SP pads front and rear)
-Clutch was fairly recent (according to previous owner) and still feels strong with no slippage.
-Serviced and maintained by a S2000 enthusiast (me).
-Stored in climate controlled building every winter that we've had it. Originally from FL...or GA...can't remember.
-VIN available upon request for serious buyers.
-Selling because this is not our only S2000 and we would like to buy something more practical to replace it (No trades, please).
-Fluids and maintenance parts replaced as described in the details
-Garage kept all its life.
-91K Miles. Drives like it did when new.
Please read below for detailed information. Feel free to ask any questions after reading.
We have owned this car for 2 or 3 years now. She absolutely loves it and it gets driven to/from her work every day in spring/summer. She drives it fairly gently....but...obviously, she does jump on the gas every now and then to have some fun. I hope the new owner plans to do the same. .
This is the AP2 chassis. In many ways, this is much better than an AP1. Better stereo, better engine (more torque, better retainers and oiling system), shorter trans gearing, carbon synchros in trans, stronger diff, nicer interior, updated exterior, 17'' wheels, more controllable suspension geometry...AP2's usually end up being faster than AP1's around any track or drag strip.
These make great track cars! I have a S2000 track car and I love it. I took this car out for one 20min intermediate session about a year or two ago and it was an awesome time! Most people don't realize this, but S2000s are every bit as fast as an EVO/Sti. Beyond that 20min session, this car has not been tracked at all. Just exclusively street driven.
Top is in good condition with the usual S2000 wear spots. No air or water leaks. Rolls up/down smoothly and the clips are in better condition that any other S2000 that I've seen. Comes with the factory tonneau cover as well.
Recent parts and fluids replaced as follows:
-Diff fluid. Used M1 75W90 (1k miles ago).
-MTF. Honda genuine MTF. (1k miles ago).
-Oil. Castrol Edge TFS synthetic. 10W30. Paired with OEM PCX filter. (1k miles ago)
-Serpentine belt. Gates. (1k miles ago).
-Air filter. K&N drop in. (10k miles ago. Recently cleaned).
-Cabin air filter. (still NIB, not installed).
-Spark plugs. Factory spec NGK Platinum. (2-3k miles ago).
-Alignment (recent, can't remember exactly what mileage)
Stoptech Brake pads and Kumho SPT tires are in great shape.
-Does NOT burn oil.
-No smoke.
-No leaks.
-No strange noises.
-Everything still feels just as smooth and tight as it did when the car was new.
-ICE COLD AC.
-Burning hot heat.
-Excellent factory stereo system (upgraded head unit...but stock unit comes with the car).
The interior is in great shape.
-Very little wear on the seat bolsters. Driven by a small sized person.
-Tiny bit of floormat wear (pictured) because she drives it with heels sometimes.
-Steering wheel has wear spot (pictured). I'm guessing PO drove it like a bus driver lol.
-Nothing is broken or missing. Everything works 100%.
CAR CURRENTLY NEEDS NOTHING. Drive happily for a long time without doing a thing.
-CLEAN IL TITLE IN HAND. I do not have a loan on this car. I own it outright.
Pictures are below.
-PRICE IS $15,975 OBO.
-Feel free to make a REASONABLE offer on the car.
-I won't answer "what is the lowest you'll take" questions.
Please keep in mind that the market value for AP2's is higher than what I'm asking, considering the mileage and condition of the car.
-Thanks for looking!!!

"Whats the lowest?" Lol, totally kidding. I hate that line too. Takes no people skills, no education and no brain. Plus they weed themselves out right away as a serious buyer so I end up just playing with them. Ill respond with, "about 3 feet when I limbo" or "i once broke an axle so it was 2 inches off the ground" or if im not in the mood, "too low for you but rocks are dirt cheap."
Glws nice thread and good pics. Half the retards on this site try to sell their car with 3 shots of the driver side and thats it.
