Default What to expect from switching from a Spoon header to Kamikazie header on a JRSC ITR

Good morning all,

I'm pulling 232hp to the wheel on a dynapack dyno and I'm curious to know how much should I expect to gain if I switch over to my Kamikazie header/downpipe. The cat is a straight pipe which leads to a mugen cat back exhaust. I know that I will gain some more if I do away with the mugen, but I do not want to be any louder going to a 3" exhaust.

She is running 440cc RC injectors with a CRV crank pulley and was tuned on an Hondata s300.

Thanks

278hp (dynapack)
Bone stock B18C5
LHT Manifold with a custom dual pass Afco air to water heat exchanger
Comptech Race header
High Flow metallic cat (I believe 200 cell per inch)
Comptech slightly modified cat back exhaust to allow for the cat (same diameter as stock)
CRV crank pulley
Motorvations alternator stepper pulley
3.8 inch blower pulley.
S300 with Deatschwerks 550 cc injectors.

shows between 9 and 11 psi depending on RPM.

I switched from a DC 4-1 header with the 2.5" collector to the Kami. All I know is it pulled a bit harder and smoother from idle to 8500. The short large diameter runners make a positive gain for the JRSC.

And hello Spunkster, haven't seen you post in quite some time.

What are you guys A/F tuned to? Mine's currently 11.5-11.9

Not sure if it is better to go slightly leaner or not. Depending on my belt tightness I do about 7.5-8.5 psi

I have a devil's own injection setup for cooling too but not tuned with it.

I have to pull my dyno sheets to give you my AF ratio, I cant recall.

I'm hoping for a 10-15 hp gain

I will let you, 3cyltrbo, know if I will be selling my header. Thanks
