Hey guys,
So... I got a 95 SI with the h23 non vtec. Lot of miles. I jumped the gun and bought a Blue Top h23 which is OBD2. This one specifcally:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/171350626842
So, now I have this engine and I guess i was being an idiot and didn't think about the ECU. I ordered a new conversion Harness adapter today, but I really need some help/direction with the ecu on this.
Anyone have any suggestions on where I can go to find something like this?

If you cant find a tuner shop locally, you can order whole ecu's from online. Unless you know someone who is good at soldering circuit boards, you could get a obd1 5speed civic or integra ecu, chip and socket yourself. Then have a legit tune shop burn you a MAP chip and have mailed.

If ANYONE has information on this please let me know. I will literally paypal you $50.00 if you can give me info on the ECU needed and how to obtain one. Thanks
Go down to our forum sponsor section, and find one of the those vendors that does ecus.
Phearable and Xenocron are going to be my first 2 top of the head suggestions.
For what it's worth, I bought my ECU, wideband etc. all from Xenocron. They were great to work with, and will get my business again.

For my specific prelude which is an si with the h23 non VTEC its almost a bolt on. You need a conversion harness to go from obd2 to obd1 and a chipped ecu with the blue top VTEC. Everything else should, in theory, go into place
^- thats if you have a PDE head, not all h23aV came with PDE heads. If you have a P13 head you can never mind that.
For obd1
figure out with injectors you want to use
Get a new usdm distributor TD-60U
use your old alternator
new belts, water pump
Highly suggest a KS manual timing belt tensionor
run vtec wire, unless you have vtec harness which in that case junk yard a vtec pressure solenoid. Most jdm engines dont have them, and there a good thing to have.
swap over the duel pulley for powersteering since the the blue top had electric steering instead. Dont use F series pulley, im pretty sure H series belts are wider.
I may be forgetting something but its not to hard to drop in and go obd1.
