newbie to the Honda world
Hello, My name is Alex and I just moved to the Dallas area.
Been shopping around for a new car and have found a really nice Del sol that I was thinking of getting. I am originally a DSM guy so not to familiar with vtec.
Here are the mods
White 97 del sol
. Gsr head
. B20b block
. Skunk2 intake manifold
. 70mm TB
. Type r oil catch can
. Type r water pump
. Semi new 4-1 headers
. 2 1/2 piping all way back into a greddy evo2 exhaust
. Short ram intake
. Wiseco high compression pistons
. Eagle Rods
. AEM fuel system
. P73 ecu
. Dc sport single bend short shifter
. New radiator
. New alternator
. New serpentine belt
. New fan
. Ground control coilover sleeves with eibach pro dampening struts. (Have a lot to be maxed out in the back.)
. Front Mugen lip
. Front camber kit, no back one.
. Have front bro chrome tow hook, and back silver tow hook
. Purple Bwr hood spacers
Bads:
. Needs vtec wired up.
. Needs to have oil pan gasket swapped.
Obviously the oil pan gasket I can figure out easily coming from the ever so leaky DSM ' S but the vtec problem is what worries me. Anybody have any wiring diagrams or any sites I should be aware of when getting into Honda's?
Also been trying to read on the b20 and gsr heads. I would like to turbo this down the road. Obviously build the engine for the turbo but was just wondering how this setup would respond to F.I?

Thanks! That del sol fell through on a count of it being a pile.. Had more problems than what seller was telling plus was only a high school kid so what could I expect? lol
Anyways just got approved for a 99 Civic EX that has a b16a2 swap and alot of SI parts converted. With full AC and PS so i'm excited for this one. I'll post pics once I have it
