I'll spare a long story, but in the interest of time I've decided to simply replace the head of my engine rather then sit down and rebuild it. Spark plug suggests I have a burnt or bent valve, which would explain why one of the cylinders isn't firing.

Are their any other heads that will be a direct fit (or very close) and work with the d15b2? I will get the d15b2 head if I have to, but the more options I have, the easier it is to find one of them. I am not looking for a performance upgrade, just something to make the engine run stock again. Thanks!

 

All 88-95 D-Series 16 valve SOHC Non VTEC heads are the same, difference is in the camshaft and springs.

All 88-00 D-Series SOHC heads are interchangeable but certain ones will need slightly different parts to work correctly.
