shock sensor wont let my car start
so i have a 91 integra obd0, my battery was just a little to weak to crank the car but all the dash lights would come on. so i went to jump it off and when ii turned the key to start it i heard a pop noise and all my lights went out and now nothing will come on, i checked all the fuses and relays grounds and changed batterys. so i figured ignition switch and/or harness. so i changed the switch and the harness. wwhen i was taking the harness out i seen two random black wires tied into them so i followed them over to this black box that says electric shock sensor on it and there is a red light that blinks. idk if thats the reason its doing this but can anyone help me on how to or have a idea of why my lights wont come on and wont turn over. thanks
Pix would help, or what color are the wires in the ign. harness that the "two random black wires" connected to?
A shock sensor should not be connected to the ign. wiring, it would be plugged into an alarm, the alarm would be wired to the ign. harness, and a starter cut or ign. kill relay could be wired to the ign. harness, in either case the ign. harness lead would be cut, black/white for starter lead and black/yellow for ign. lead, in your case it would have to be the black/yellow ign. lead to "kill" the dash lights. 94
