Engine stuttering.. need help!! see pic
so i while i was driving the other day my car started to stutter at highway speeds... thought i had some bad gas so i got some fuel cleaner and replaced my fuel filter as a precaution.. it went away... 2 weeks later it came back with a fury MORE STUTTERING at all speeds and then went to start it and nothing... after a couple of days of sitting there it starts and runs fine again....
Anyways after i start looking around i found that my fuel pressure sensor has some cracked hoses and a t fitting that isn't attached to anything looked it up and i don't know where this hose goes anyone know? should it even have the t? is it just a breather hose?

Could possibly be the PGM-FI relay. I've seen where the solder on the contacts get loose and cause similar issues. Another thing to check is to see if your getting good spark. You might have a weak ignition coil, or maybe bad contacts on the distributor cap. Fairly easy to check. First take off the ignition wire off a spark plug and ground it into a screwdriver, it should jump about half an inch and be a nice blue color. If not then id pop off the distributor cap and see how it looks, if there is too much corrosion on the contacts I would do a tune-up. I cant think of any way off the top of my head to check a coil without a scope other than checking resistance with a DVOM, but that test doesn't check the coil when it has a load on it so its not really an accurate way to test it unless its completely shot. Lastly an upstream oxygen sensor could sometimes cause an issue similar to that. The most simple way to check it without reading the values with a scanner or DVOM is to disconnect the plug and see if your problem goes away, if it does then that's your problem. But I would definetly start with checking for weak spark. Good Luck.
ok so i couldn't figure it out... took it to the mechanic and they wanna charge me 800 dollars for a distributor change...Thats outragous right? I might be wrong but that is 3 bolts pull out and slap the new one in right? or is there more to this that i don't know?
