....I'm working around a previous post that I lost...sorry.
My issue is the P0301 code for cyl#1 which names a culprit (misfire-monitor), reset, could not test run more than 1 run...Please advise.

You need to do a standard tune-up. If it still does it, the normal reason is clogged egr ports and valve.
