I swapped a B20 i had on a integra 97 ls into my civic 96, before that the motor was running fine and had no codes while i used the p28, after i swapped it into the civic, i turned on the check engine light and verified it was the cel 15, it started jumping revs from 800-1000 and when I accelerate it it kinda bugs down.

Any help will be appreciated.

 

Either loose connection to the distributor or replace distributor. That would cause the bogging.

 

I will check on that, but before the swap i didnt have any issue with the distributor.

 

What engine harness and distributor are you using?

 

I leaved the harness the civic had, and the distributor is from a b18 wish it had before and never changed it.

The problem surged after the swap being the harness the only thing that changed so I think the problem lies in the wiring, but i could be wrong.
