Default Quits running after start

I have a 94 Honda Accord, and sometimes when I start it it will run for a couple of seconds and quit. I hear a click under the dash, the check engine light comes on. I turn the key to the off position and the check engine light goes of and then I will try to start and the same thing happens. I have already changed the fuel pump relay and still the same thing. After about 20 tries it will finally start and no problems. One note, this usually happens when the outside temperature is above 80. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Have you checked to see if you have CEL code?

The next time the check engine light comes on, instead of turning the ignition off, check for any stored check engine codes instead.

I agree with "Holmes" but would like to add one more thing. Before trying to start the car - turn the key to "on"/pos II and listen for the fuel pump to prime for ~3 seconds.
