Tonight my car randomly died. Lights and all were still working just no pedal or ability to start.
Would crank not fire. Thought I ran out of gas and the gauge was acting up with electrical system.

I also notice my check engine light is solid light now.


I thought I was out of gas. Needed gas had some one bring me gas. Than I left the head lights on and needed a jump. After sending person back to get cables it did not do anything. Lights and all lit up and car turned over would not run. Completely random.

Last time I went through this it was a fuse blown .


I had to pay some one to tow my car. I am hoping to figure it out in the morning.

Anyone have any tips

I looked at them and they look alright.

Going to hit the car with ether and see if it turns over or runs. Will let me know if I have spark.

Last time a fuse blew and it was a easy fix..400 bucks later. I am seeing the cel or mil stay light steady. Never seen it lit like that. Ecm? I pulled fuse. Will try in a little bit.


Going to store to get some oil thinking it may have a low oil switch IDk and cut off.

Never had trouble like this before so I am stuck. The car sAT for 2 years started it off and on but never just shut down.

I do have a back up dist. But its not here with me now.

 

Can you hear the fuel pump prime when you try to turn it on? Has the main relay been replaced?

 

Yes All that works.. pump is priming fuses are ok.

Right now the batt. is dead and my freaking jump pack is dead as well. I will try to go jump it in a few minutes when I know the charge pack has some juice in it.

I did dump some oil in the car (thinking it has none or a cut off) and the Light is still light up on the dash. My CEL is blinking very lightly and than it hits one solid blink and is bright.. so I am not sure what is going on ( if its part of the battery being low)??

It would blink very lightly barely able to see it blink or get a count on numbers.. some where around 4 light or DIM blinks and than it goes on bright and holds a solid 1 light....

Where as to before I put oil in it would stay light... steady...

I also un-plugged the A connector, the light went out but I plugged it back in and now I am getting the weird dim blink followed by 1 bright blink...??

 

Just checked and I have no fuel pressure and pump actually is not priming.

The pump is new. Was replaced 3 years ago give or take and original was still good.

I have a fuel gauge on filter and it is not reading anything h. Also do not hear the whine for 2 second D's at all anymore

 

My car ran completely out of gas.

I had some one come and bring me some off side of road and it was not enough..!!??!

Also the battery died. I ended up getting towed, and buying **** I did not even need.

After dumping more gas in car... it fired right up. After 150-200 bucks I did not need to spend.
