ok this is my first post so please bare with me. heres the situation...my cousin bought a 2002 civic ex yesterday and then he found out that there was not that much aftermarket support for this car. now he wants to try to return it or get an older model civic, like 2000 or older. and that is my question can he return it to the car dealer?or is there another option? thanks in advance. peace

 

did he buy a NEW Car? in texas, you have 3 days or 300 miles to renig on any dealership purchase (so that you might realize the associate hassled you into buying and you arent ready, etc) check your local laws.....

 

Your cousin should turbo the civic. Or he can drive that motor till it dies and swap a k series motor in its place . Tell him its a honda and after market products will be available soon as they r&d every thing you will start to see more products coming out. Patients is a virtue

 

Give it some time, the market will be flooded with parts within a half a year, if u return to dealer u will lose out on like 2gs once u drive it out the dealer lot.

 

we were wondering if there is any links you guys have to pctures or information about modified 2001-02 civics? and is there any turbo systems out for the new civic? and once again guys thanks for all your help.

 

i hate to say it, but car dealers are very close to the devil, i should know i used to work at a dealership. you can try your best, but in prospective, if they dont have some sort of return policy like that mentioned above, you are out of luck, unless you want to get some more $$$ taken away from you.

 

Really, they don't want it back. But, within, I'd say 3-7 days if you come in and bitch on a fairly busy day and make a scene, anything can happen.
