95 integra wint crank
Hey guys got my teg on the road after a lengthy head gasket repair all was going well then one day I drive to work come back at lunch and the car won't start won't even crank.
When the key is turned to on I can hear the fuel pump come on and I can push start the car fairly easy which led me to believe it is the starter
It was hot the day it failed but now it won't do anything at all I got it to start by hitting the starter a few times (kinda caveman I know but it worked on my hardbody) my question is is the starter the most likely part that needs replaced or is it a combo of starter and something else?
Car is a 95 teg

Most denso starters when they go bad you just need new starter contacts, especially if hitting the starter makes it start.
I would simply get new starter contacts from "larry b's starter contacts" or possibly from ebay or amazon and swap em in which is fairly easy and you should be good to go. I've done this on a few starters now.
Now if the starter is doing weird things other than simply not cranking then it could be other things in the starter, but Denso OEM starters that haven't been remanned by another place are built to last.

Hey guys tracked down the problem new starter didn't work new ignition switch didn't work, about to give up a friend suggested the clutch interlock switch pressed that down had the gf fire it up started every time (did the test 10 times never failed once) the rubber piece between the pedal and the switch had cone off and was lost put something in there to clear the gap and it started will update if anything new pops up thanks for all your help
