Hi,

Chk these 2 threads of mine may help in making a decision. I had OBX ITBS 1st and the switched to Skunk2 Ultra street. All the info with pics and dyno are there.

My advise is the Ultra Street for the long run. Itbs have their share of pros and cons.

1> Not the easiest to tune for daily driving
2> Really loud
3> Peppy but loose out in the top end
4> Decreased brake efficiency as you share the vaccum lines from the brake with the itbs unless you do some mods for vaccum.

The car is a 1995 Civic EG with a B18C5 engine overbored and built.

Neither IMO. If you can't afford Kinsler's you do a proper manifold. The Ultra Street on a 1.8L only makes peak power and basically sucks under 8,000RPM.

I agree. though TWMs and OBXs are alot cheaper than Kinslers', they are still $500+. better money spent elsewhere. the stock ITR manifold performs well with a bigger throttle body.

the Ultra street lost hp for me everywhere in the lows and mids as stated. I would disagree with the fact that it's for peak power, because it didnt even carry power for me past 8700rpm. pretty disappointed. the Race version has shown way better results, though it's overkill in your setup. I would invest in some cams before IM.
