Need help, cranks but dies after 2 sec
I have a 98 Honda accord 5 speed. A few months ago it started randomly cutting off, and wouldn't start for a few min. Soon after that I learned if you smacked/kicked above the clutch pedal it would instantly start back. Soon after that it quit running all together. About an hour ago we removed the Main relay and re-soldered it. It started for about 2 second then would die. Any suggestions or answers for me??
Do you hear the fuel pump prime and the check engine light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key to the on position?
if it doesn't, then replace the main relay or check your solder points again.
Has the check engine light been on recently?

We actually took the grey box off the main relay and by passed the little white box by taking a little wire and ran it from one point on the white box to the other point on the white box plugged the relay back in and she started and ran with no hesitation or issues. So I'm now on my way to get a new main relay.
