Possible IACV failure
So whenever I try to start the lude it would start, the idle will come up to like 1k rpm then stall, sometimes it won't start at all. It would stay on if I keep revving the engine. If I adjust the throttle cable to let the butterfly open a bit the car would stay on, but there is shaking and stumbling, it would even out sometimes. The RPM would go from 2k to 2.5 really quickly, I can hear the sucking sound coming from the intake then stop, then come back, it sounds like the IACV is sticking or something. I could feel the stumbling a bit at idle before it started to do this. I found a OEM used IACV on eBay, but does this sound like a bad IACV? Btw I cleaned it a few months ago and I tried to clean it today but I couldn't get the bottom bolt off, It's kinda stripped. My mechanic can do it for like $30 bucks I'll prolly let him deal with it lol
Got a used OEM one from eBay for like $50, I was in shock when I looked them up on sites like autozone and they were like $230. Gonna have it on by Monday.
