Saturn Vue did use the J35, but it is otherwise a GM vehicle. The other kicker is although it is an A3 it has the cast crank from an A4(GM be cheap YO). Not an ideal engine for swap.

'CD' chassis came optional with C series V6s not J and even then the front end was different to accommodate the larger C series, IIRC they are called CE Accords.

There are several issues you would need to come up with to install a J series, and then you would still be on the hook for finding a drivetrain/AWD system to fit/work onto the chassis.

Correct me if I am wrong, but a C series V6 is a 90 degree motor and a J series V6 is a 60 degree motor. If that is right, then the body modifications to a 97 CE would not necessarily accomodate a J motor.

How about the awd from a crv. They use the b-series motor, so you could power it with a gsr motor....

Putting a b series in an accord is a terrible idea. Besides everything having to be custom made, the car would be slower than a stock accord due to the lack of torque.

So are you saying my 160hp 2.0L 5spd AWD SUV has no torque? Sure I have to rev it to 6500 to hit the power range..... That's the fun of it! It has more than enough tq to move my SUV. So I'm sure it would be enough to move an AWD Accord. However, the amount of custom fabrication would make this a labour of love vs any sort of quality investment.

The newer CR-V with the 5spd K24 would be a much better platform to swap over to the Accord. Still lots of custom fabrication involved though.

Give her a try and let us know how you make out!
