performance Specs for JDM NSX??
Best Motoring tested a bunch of different NSXs (NSX-R, Type-S Zero or whatever it's called, etc.). I believe their fastest 1/4 mile time was 12.4 sec. I would imagine they can hit 0-60 in the high 4 second range.
they are pretty much the same. The motor and all the stuff is the same. The S-Type Zero and Type R are faster im sure since they are lighter weight. But the motors put out the same amount of power
Not on paper, but in reality you are right. since they have the 280 hp limit; the japanese spec nsx claims only 280 hp at a slightly less rpm than the us spec 290;
what they did was see where it makes 280 and make that the max claimed hp spec; just like what they did on the skyline.
in other words, they have the same engine as we do...they just dont claim so.
but it is possible they have less limiters onthe exhaust so in fact even thoug they claim less, they have more horsepower that us spec cars
