Default Bad clutch safety switch?

If i need to " double pump" my clutch on my 1994 Honda Accord to start it, then is the simple answer is to replace the clutch safety switch? Could it be the wiring to the switch?

Check the switch. It may be loose, out of adjustment, sticking, or simply failing.

disconnect the connector and stick a paperclip in there, keeping in mind you are disabling a key safety feature for the time being so be safe starting the car make sure its always in neutral, and see if you dont need to do that anymore
