incorrect gear ratio

incorrect gear ratio
1999 honda civic dx with 120k miles on it, throwing this code. shakes and delays on take off only when it is hot out, no problems while already moving, little shaking in reverse when it's hot out.
taking it to a transmission specialist soon, was curious of possible problems. never went to this transmission guy before so don't wanna get ripped and told "oh your whole tranny is gone" when it's just a sensor or something.
