Default Inverted "Tunnel" Hatch idea?

Hello H-T Teg owners. Really just making this as an idea/suggestion/discussion post. I have an extra 98 Integra hatch laying in my garage and I was thinking it would be cool to try and make an inverted hatch with a back window glass.

I personally think that looks pretty sweet.
IF YOU HAVE NEGATIVE COMMENTS OF ANY SORT PLEASE JUST DON'T WASTE EITHER OF OUR TIMES AND PRESS THE X AT THE TOP RIGHT OF YOUR SCREEN.

With that being said does anyone know of this being done on an integra ever? Anyone else think this would be a cool idea or look? Could anyone photoshop it?

Can't help myself.
That kind of **** went out in the 90s. And if you think it' cool then go ahead and attempt it and stop worrying/wondering who thinks it's cool or not.

This is a public forum. You don't get to dictate what types of responses threads get.

People will say whatever they want, it's a public online forum, so be prepared. Honestly I think something similar to what's on the nissan in the picture would make an integra look like a toyota mr2. If that's the look you're after then by all means, go for it. Definitely would be different, that's for sure.

Not a fan of the idea, but then again its not my car. I think it will look cheesy… just my 2 cents.

Aw. Someone's done it. Now you can be a follower. Shiny. Hideous. Limited Visibility. Doesn't follow the lines of the car AT ALL. Some people shouldn't be allowed to design anything.

Custom body work is the ROOT of creativity when envisioning a ride.
Many of the best fabricators in the world had life time careers making movie cars and masterpieces now publicly viewed in museums worldwide.

Grumbledouche can suck a ****, and WHOEVER else thinks they know style or cool. Really, ******* shut up!

Art and style are inspirations of the spirit and and adopted through exsposure to others. The ammount of craft you will learn (the hard way mostly unless you have a mentor) will enrich your future opportunities in several sectors.

These ARE the most beautiful lines in automotive history. They are so iconic they transcend every generation since their conception. Hundreds of examples are out there to peruse, but who needs permission or inclusion? Just do something different for you.
I have done custom fabrication and bodywork for decades, some is hit and some is miss. Someone will ALLWAYS buy it later if you don't like. Hell the ugliest cars in the world still get bought and driven. Too bad GDD can't follow everybody around and tell them how un cool they are with their efforts.

I agree with Tyler Dirden. Think how boring our world would be if not for the 1% who are unafraid of new ideas.

I have and almost always offered supportive and technical advice to any tech thread here. Do your search. I am a POSITIVE member that encourages discussion and craft interest. I have posted MANY threads with special interest in fabrication and trechnical advancement of the craft.
You are the follower sir.

I am a tech POSITIVE contributor. Not a legendary negative, sharp, tack that repells new site community growth. You are the disease of HT and others like you.

LOOSER.
Stupid is just as strong a derogatory statement as **** off. You stupid up every thread you post with negative.
Judith is a downer.

This isn't a thread about people being allowed to be creative. The OP asked if WE thought something looked cool or not. And in the end even the OP said it didn't. Don't try to come into the thread at the tail end and try to turn it into an issue of people trying to stifle someone's creativity. If it was truly about creativity the OP wouldn't have posted asking for opinions. He would have just done it and wouldn't have given a **** what the general public at large thought.

And as for you being positive? Personal attacks are about as juvenile and negative as you can get. But hey, if I get under your skin so much to evoke such a response, then I'm happy,

Can we let threads like this live and die on their own merits? If you have nothing positive to say, then say nothing. Nobody drives anyone to rudeness; the rude get there on their own.

OP, you've at least got a photo of what a hatch looks like with that mod. You can see there is an aesthetic problem with the trunk seams. You would also lose the back seat if you did this. But if you like it than by no means let anyone here stop you from trying.

This is the typical loser twister move that He employs regularly to JUSTIFY His negative onslought on "our" community. He also does not have reading comprehension and deliberately injected himself into a discussion that was BOLDED in the OPs opening statement to:

IF YOU HAVE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS OF ANY SORT, PLEASE JUST DON'T WASTE OUR TIME.

So as usual, the mods fall short to enforce a practical and posative enviroment for all members to exchange thought.

But man ohh man, is HT slowly and surely becoming Hater Tech on the internet and here. Soo sad really, but i'll stay in the trenches as long as it takes.

And again, THIS IS A PUBLIC FORUM. NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE gets to dictate any kind of responses get to any thread or post initiated here. Especially one asking for others OPINIONS. As much as you and others would like it to be otherwise. When you can show me where anything in this thread has violated any TOS then maybe you people would have a leg to stand on. As if this was a Mickey Mouse club. "Our community" and just got here himself.

And the killer is...in the end the OP admitted it looked like ****! Agreeing with all the "negative" comments. So who's cause are you people championing?

And if I'm allowed to get under you people's skins that much then that's really not my problem. There's an ignore list you people need to start utilizing if it bothers you that much.

You have become the Grumblefart of HT, the joke that everyone gets subjected too.

I feel sorry to see you in soo many threads with your attitude and contempt. I wonder how many people would just punch you in the mouth for answering them in person, the way you talk on the computer. So, you are safe behind your keyboard, but a mouse of a man to me.

Pot and kettle come to mind. To reiterate; public forum.

Again, sorry I get under your skin so much. Obviously only certain types of people are allowed in your world, your community your forums. You have resources at your disposal to deal with it. Use them. Ignore me. Put me on your ignore list. Report the posts. Don't come into any threads you see my name on. After much campaigning against me maybe you'll get me banned.

What did I say really? I gave my opinion and then told him to go out and do it. The thread was pretty much over until you popped in at the tail end. If you want to continue to attack me personally there's the PM system.

Believe me when I say this grumblemarc, I DO NOT wish to see you banned. This is a sort of campaign though but not to malign you, but to bring you onboard. I know you know what that means.

I am aware of those features but like to see the whole experience play out in threads.
I have only ever reported the ugliest racest stuff, for HTs sake, not because i'm offended though.

Point made, truce for reflection.
