Default Turn Signal gone Bizerk

My left turn signal goes on only when I don't press on the brake, but when I press on the brake my turn signal comes back on. It's only with the left turn signal not the right. This has never happened before and I have never messed with any wiring. WTF is going on. Can anyone help with this problem or has anyone experienced this problem before. Any info. on this would be appreciated. THANX

Check your battery connection if you haven't. Something like that happened to me and it was a loose and corroded wire on the battery.

It also could be a bad ground somewhere.

First place I'd look is the bulb, then I'd check the wiring behind the tail light. Look for any loose wires or bad grounds.

Hmm.. So what your're saying is that you step on the Brake Pedal and the Left Turn Signal comes on. I'm not too sure about Civics but, if the bulb in the Turn Signal is a double filament bulb, I'd check that first. If the filament is burn out, I'd just replace the bulb. Weird things happen when bulbs go out..
