Hi there.

My CIVIC ED7, 1991, Engine D16A9 has a throttle that sticks and I'm pretty sure it's the throttle cable.

I'm having a hard time finding a new, correct cable (some ebay sellers won't ship to denmark)

My questions are these

1) Do you know where I could buy a replacement throttle cable online?

2) I've found some throttle cables through an online local scrapyard but i'm not sure if they'll work for me. Maybe someone knows the range of years/models that use the same cable?

Even though your not in the states you may want to try using the Oreileys Autoparts site. When you look up a part they have a tab on that page that will show you what other Cars\Years use that.

I've taken a look at the O'Reilly Auto Parts site but they only have SOHC engines. I don't know if that makes alot of difference in my case. But I couldn't find it anyway.

They call it accelerator cable. I can try googling that.

Why don't you just soak the whole cable in some cleaner then soak it in some lube.

 

I would find the part number and search it on eBay since you aren't in the states.
