Whats this wire called?

it connects from the valve head to chassis what is it and whats its purpose?

it's a ground wire not an important one but don't remove it if you're not doing it for some crazy wire tuck

Do you know where i can buy a cool looking one? Im trying make my bay look nice and ive seen some people with fancy ones , not sure what to type in to look for one though

really man just get some heavy lamp cord and fittings at the hardware store.
