hesitation/cut in/out at and above 4.4K rpm's. 94 gsr
This issues started recently the car sat for a bit while I sorted out the gas tank issues, new tank and fuel pump(used OEM) from "an integra" they all run the same lph right ?. Anyway this did NOT happen with my 255lph walbro but I find it hard to believe the swapping of pumps would cause this? I didn't touch anything else. I still have the walbro but I'd like to sell it if I don't need it, here's whar I've checked/confirmed etc. bolt on gsr as far as the engine goes(obd1). I have a 2nd dizzy with a going bad icm but I know that's the only thing wrong it, so ima try that tomorrow may also throw the 255 in for extra security
NEW OEM Honda plug wires
NEW ngk plugs
mechanical timing is good
no CEL in Hondata or when jumped
ignition timing is no different then before ran it full adv and full retard lol no change, always ran full adv before anyways.
less then a year old OEM Honda rotor
fuel pressure is at a good 44psi
basically what happens I drive along at any %throttle and it happens once you hit 4.5K rpms it feels and sounds like I'm running on 3 cyls
what I'm not happy about...
relatively new distributor cap
relatively brand new part store whole distributor
87 octane but I've always ran this since switching over to low n slow
red dust in distributor cap.
see pics

old distributor broke when I tired taking off the rotor, it seemed to have seized onto the post/shaft. So I have ordered a new rotor for my old OEM one going to swap the ICM's as I know the junk one was still good.
bump all the same tho
