Regarding selling stock parts...
What is your opinion on selling your stock ITR parts once you replace them with new mods? For those of you that do sell all of your stock parts, do you do it because you plan to keep your car forever, or do you not think that it will damage the resale value?
Wouldn't a stock Type R have a better resale value than a modded one? Also, do you think that if you do keep your parts incase you ever do sell your car that there will always be a market for ITR parts?
So what's your opinion, sell or pack?

Personally, I would keep all my stock parts even though I have no intention of selling the car. Anything can happen, so if I were ever forced to sell, I would have all stock parts with me. Plus, you never know when you will get pulled over for things like one of those exhaust violations, which require that you get the stock one put back on and have an inspection. A simple trip home and you would have your stock exhaust sitting righ there to put back on.
Pros: Have all stock parts in case of emergency, or if you have to sell
Con: Not selling stock parts results in money just sitting in your garage that could be put towards even more mods.

I have kept all of my parts.
All except your A/C unit which you're about to sell.

They only thing that I have sold is the Flywheel...that's it, and I think that I might sell the stock radio, other than that I'm keeping everything.

I guess it depends on whether how much you value you car and how important it's "worth" is to you. If you see a car as an "investment" (and a poor one at that) - then I can see the merit in keeping everything. If you, like me, see a car as a consumable item with continually decreasing value - then there is no real need in keeping old parts.
if you can afford to, keep the stocks...save yourself the trouble of sourcing replacements if you need them later on...esp on "wear" items.
i keep mine for posterity, knowing these parts will be harder to come by later on, which is as valid as the next guy who sells everything now, not wanting to tie-up money in parts that sit..
in the end, do whats best for you.
