Hey guys. I have a 96 integra b18b1 and I race it as a dirt car. I recently installed a electrical oil pressure gauge and I did away with my stock oil pressure switch and now the oil light is on. I was under the impression that if you unplug the stock wire that you wouldn't get a light? The light was not on before I did away with the stock unit. Car holds great oil pressure just wondering if this will effect the ecu and or the performance?

 

My guess is the ICU is keeping the light on, [oil pressure switch also goes to ICU] easy fix is to just pull the bulb. 94

 

I did pull the bulb. Just making sure it wouldn't effect anything.

Its fixed. The aftermarket sending unit had a spot to plug it into. Thanks all
