Default How to make sharp/clean oem looking rear fender lines with filler

Hey guys, Im at a loss for how to get my rear quarter panels to look like oem arches, with the 3/4" arch looking consistent and sharp the entire panel.

I have done my arches twice now, both times cutting out a little honda rust in the rear quarter, this time someone bumped me at work at the very top of the rear quarter, and I tried to build with filler and make it look oem but if you look from the side at an angle you can tell the arch isnt perfect.

I tried block sanding, and doing little guide coats to see where my lines were, and it still doesnt look close to perfect. Im not needing perfection, as Im giving the car a cheap paintjob in the garage, but id like it to be atleast not noticeable to that the panel was repaired.

Any tips? Open to advice. Thanks alot

Tape... Use tape to sand to and get a good line. also tape can be used to bondo to and get a clean line with. Its just take practice, there isn't a one size fits all for this..

I use a DA sander and fine paper...just go slow and come at the crease from way above and way below, but never actually hit the top of the crease.

Ya tape it usually gives you a nice line. Sorry I'm sure I was drinking or something in my last post. A DA is to aggressive for getting a good line, just hand Sand it, you can do a 11" or 24 inch block.
