Default Code 41 still after O2 replacement help!

I have a 92 integra b18a1 swapped into a 93 civic hatch si. Aftermarket header and full exhaust. The guy i bought the car from said the ecu was fine and went with the motor. I got 4 long blinks and 1 quick, so code 41. The code is for the 02 sensor heater. I replaced the 02 sensor with a Bosch sensor, and the code is still there. Im burning oil and it has a sweet smell, idk if that gas. What else could be my problem. The guy extended the wire harness for the 02 sensor with butt connector and 14 g wire, so it couch reach down near the cat. Guy said this needed to be done. Honestly idk if he is running the civic harness or the integra harness. Either way, i tried to clear the code, and still the code is showing.

My Honda's have never liked any other 02 except OEM. Might want to double check his wiring on that "extension" People always mix and match the 2 black wires, and it's a heated 4 wire 02 not a single wire like precious years. Sweet smell is more than likely coolant, unfortunately. How do you know your burning oil?

edit: when you put the new 02 on did you reset the ecu?

I did reset the ecu a couple times, There is 2 white wires, and a gray with white striped and a regular gray wire. Which ones you think, both whites are ground?

If it were me I would trace the wires back to the originals. Take off any tape or wire loom that would other wise cover the wiring. Do one wire at a time, so as to not get confused. Can you take a pic of the "extension" so I can better describe how to redo it.
