Default B20v misfire in vtec

Hi guys, I have a b20z1 block b16a2 head mapped making 200.5bhp with around 150ft/lb tq

Engine has 2.5k miles on it since build n map, has been perfectly fine up until recent...

When in vtec the car misfires, simple. However sometimes its perfectly fine? So its inconsistent.. Also when I the accelerator peddle at approx 3k the car bangs extremely loud as thought it's running really rich but has been fine since map months ago..

I'm assuming a dizzy issue here or maybe the plugs? Any input on possibilities? Thanks.

Could be a part of ignition making it run rich. What does your afr show when it bogs?

I only have a narrowband and shows rich when it bogs

It's now happening rarely off vtec too, oil and oil pressures fine

I do have some oil in cylinder 1 spark plug hole so going to try changing seals and then try a different dizzy i guess

I would fix the oil leak into the cylinder well. That would def interrupt the ignition. Sounds like a dead spot in TPS also or CKP would do that too. What tuning system are you running? You may be able to find faulty sensor readings on laptop.

Today my car cut out randomly in traffic would turn over but no start with engine management light on.

Normally the main fuse relay ticks on n off when it ticks off it turns the engine management light off after doing its job 'fuel pump etc'

I decided to change this and car started ran fine, waited for oil to reach around 80degrees, pressure was fine empty road so now was the time for vtec

And no issues so far so will update if I do have any as for now seems ok fingers crosses.

If anyone does come across the same try the main fuse relay too, many thanks.
