Does anybody know how to remove the Power Outlet in a 99 Si? I'm trying to relocate it somewhere else. I think I saw somebody else with a 99-00 Civic relocate it next to the shifter. Does anybody know how to do this?

 

Anybody? I know this isn't really Tech but I'd appreciate anybody's help...

 

Take it out and move it.

Sorry dude... Shoulda been more specific... I need instructions to remove the power outlet outta the plastic piece it originally came in... I need the outlet alone... I wanna see if I can get it out without cutting the original piece surrounding it...

 

just pull it out. it cant be that difficult.

Take the panel out, then take the outlet out.

You have to drop the glovebox and the lower cover on the other side of the dash. Then you can uscrew the center cover. then you can take the 12v outlet out.

 

unplug the outlet, then unscrew the backside off the outlet, then pop out the front of the socket
