To start off, what is the engine code for a 6gen 4 cyl accord coupe LX?

Are there any turbo kits for these engines?

More specifically, does anyone make a turbo manifold for these engines or will a custom one need to be made?

Lastly, has anyone on here turbo'd their 6g accords? What's your setup? What are your thoughts and opinions on your setup?

Isnt the 99 a F23?

 

the 99 accord 4 cyls are f23 sohc vtech

 

If the 99 LX had VTEC (which I'm not sure about it) then it's F23A1. Some website has turbo kits for this car. Look at the post in the hybrid forum talking about some huge sale that has like 30 pages. That's the site.

all 4cyl 6th gen are f23a1
except DX f23a4

 

I've checked out the F-max kits. If anyone here has one, how much did you pay for it. I've seen them priced around $3700.

Will a f22 turbo manifold fit on the f23 motor?

 

hm........thats odd because my 02 EX coupe 5 speed says F23A4 on the engine block and its not a DX.....does that mean i have the 135 hp engine like the DX?? or i have 148 like all other F23s??

 

If you have an ex it should be the standard F23a1 sohc vtec with 150hp and 152 feet lbs torque.
