Default Round 3! RHD Prelude to the finish line.

This will be the last thread, cars just needs the details. I have done 2 threads in the past; one when I did the RHD F20B swap, and another when I got it cleaned up a bit since it took a while. There was a delay in doing more until some things were settled, and I've been building up to the end recently, and see the final vision I wanted when I started this car a few years ago.

A little timeline since it's been forever and a half.

Got like this shell no engine:

Then made it driveable with H22A4 and Rotas

Then went for the RHD and F20B swap, as well as a few other mods.

Looked worse than before at this point.

And

Had that fixed, car looked decent. I originally wanted to paint this car SUnburst Gold Metallic from the 2000 Mustang, but my daily at the time crapped out, and had to go with fixing the damage and matching the fixed area to the OEM color.

Then threw on some 5Zigen FN01RC's

Had to drive daily winter before last a little. All the damage occurred in that small time. Sat for almost a year. This was the day before I took it to paint/body recently. I added the wing a Wings West Mugen copy, and the lip was a Value Sport replica so they would be painted with the car.

Then it was time to make the body show quality AND go for that color I wanted:

Literally today:

The front end isnt actually bolted together, he needed to move the car outside at the time.

Oh yeah dropped this off to get matched to the car color:

There's parts that I have waiting to go on, even my steering wheel I've had since the RHD conversion years ago, never installed.

17x8+38

235/40

Recaros

Cluster

Suspension

Steering wheel

Had this custom, I wanted the red like some of the old JDM EF's

Bought the honeycomb grille:

DC5 Red H, SiR-T badge, had had these for years, iffy on using the SiR-T:

Flaps, which are being body matched:

The VC I had on my H22A4 at the beginning, I still have, it's getting polished and put on

So basically the only thing left to buy is audio. Which I'll do at the last moment. At this time, brakes, suspension, and the engine will be refreshed as well.

Parts list:

RHD conversion, everything correct/wipers/trunk/gas/window controls
JDM power folding mirrors
JDM digital Climate control
F20B swap
wrapped header/intake/2.5 exhaust (will be polished)
OBD1 conversion, P28 ECU
ACT HDG6
Fidanza 8lb
Mugen style pedals
Red stitched boot
Recaro Lancer Evo 8 seats (dyed black per Evo forums direction)
Sparco Monza/Momo hub
JDM yellow needle/carbon cluster
Yonaka coilovers w/adjustable damping
Volk CE28N 17x8 +38 Diamond black
Federal 595 RS-R 235/40
JDM OEM hood spoiler
Honeycomb grill w/ Prelude badge
JDM fogs
15000k HID
Value Sports style lip
Wings West MUGEN wing
mudflaps - matched to paint

Everything just needs bolted together, and hopefully nothing unexpected keeps me from from IA.

Well, no comments. LOL. This is just here for future reference that I was the one that did this car to my tastes top to bottom, from stock to what it is today.

Anyway after sitting for a long time since the last post, got some things installed.

Got the wheels finished, and tires mounted:

Someone order man-sized tires?

I did.

My old polished VC back on. Have to give the engine and trans, and accesories a good steam cleaning. They were supposed to be cleaned before putting back in the engine but whatever, time is of the essence.

I also have another sparkplug cover with a custom finish to put on. Also found out that Amazon sent me F22 wires, so no red wires. :/

And cold *** AC.

Those mudflaps are about to be matched to the car.

Oh yeah, I got a bike matched to the car, but the wheels wont be done in time for IA:

Even custom decals.

Thanks all. However no wire tuck.

Heres a pic from today. Just basically showing the richness of the color.

Still need to bolt front end on. Its not on, because I need to source a foglight bulb. Still have to do grille, ect.

I got it decent enough for IA, but still need some details dealt with.

Did not have my Recaros in, or sound system, needed mudflaps painted, and a front EP3 hatch badge, and I think thats it.

A rear shot. Considering keeping flaps black. Dont know. Really wanted them painted, since no one does it. But on the other hand, when you DO see it done, its a Maaco cheapie job.

Also took all the "goodies" off the car, since it's going back down. Shop had this laying around.
