t's D16Y8 VTEC Boosted at 9LBS Greddy turbo kit. It only clicks/rattles when the car heats up, and it doesn't increase in speed when I accelerate. It just clicks/rattles when it wants.

It's not the injectors. They are 450CC unkown brand
It's not in the top part of the piston (We used a camera and then cleaned the piston tops, still clicks/rattles)
It's not the fan.

It's coming from the Passenger side of the car in the engine bay.

Anyone have this problem or have a guess?

 

Nope. Not going to play the "Guess the noise without seeing/hearing the car" game.

Having nearly the identical setup I can tell you that I have no rattles under the hood. I suggest you get a mechanics stethoscope (or equivalent) and start poking around.

You already said its on the passenger side. You also need to be specific, does it rattle when driving, at idle. If it happens at idle than you can let the car idle and start sticking your ears where you've never put them before on the passenger side. I have a clue but its really pointless for me to even say because its a guesstimate, educate guess or whatever you guys want to call it.

 

Instead of trying to describe it... try to get a video of the sound and a brief description of what you're showing.

Last ignition system tune up?

Have you checked the ignition timing?

Any CEL codes?

 

Check the battery, sometimes they get loose enough to where they create a rattle . Its between the firewall and plate that holds it
