Hello Everyone! I have a 95 Civic Ex D16z6 and need some advice, this is my situation

I have a Standard/Manual Transmission Reconstructed Title 95' Civic Ex D16z6 Black Coupe and I don't know if i should use this shell or not for a rebuild, I do know that I want to rebuild the engine Turbo/Supercharger safe, ready and willing.
This is what I know about the car before i got it.
The car had 213,000 Miles and was in a pretty bad accidentI'm assuming because the Reconstructed Title. All the replaced Exterior panel/fender/parts were(are still) painted matching matte Black, The driver side mirror was broken off, the lower part of the rear quarter panel was(is still) almost all bondo 1/8" in some spots, Replaced driver front Fender, Replaced driver door(saggs! I have to slam/push it closed twice for it to work), my Driver Door Only Locks from the Outside it is Missing the metal wire/rod that Connects the lock to the handle/switch, Replaced Hood with installed Hood Pins, Broken off driver door handle(guy said it froze one morning and he broke it), New nice looking Bumper, Passenger side is fine, Car has 3 sway bars on it; Locations, Under the Hood, Trunk and under the rear end, I haven't put it on a lift yet or taken an actual good look under the car but, when I replaced the brake pads I had to buy 95' Del Sol pads so not sure how much is 95' Del Sol or Civic under there(does anyone have a guess?), has 4 Black Steelies with 185/60/14(tires), 50/50 Taillights, Extended pipe Headersthey meet up under the engine, Stock intake manifold/Injectors, After market Short Ram Air Intake system, 3" Magnaflow exhaust, I think it still has its Catty Converter, Stick Shifter feels like a short shifter, Sunroof motor is going out(I have to pull it closed), Car is Lowered; I'm not sure if they chopped my springs(I did notice that they are adjustable coil overs and they Look Really Compressed), Neatly Wired already for a powerful Amp/Sub System, Wired cracked Stereo, the Center Console Cup Holder is Missing,Torn driver side CV Boot, Bubbling Tint, Driver window falls off track if i close the door with the window rolled all the way down, no rips in any of the seats but they do need replaced, Still has a Really Nice Black Leather Material Dash, SRS light is always on when car has power, all inside Heater/AC/Defrost/Center Console accessories work, Power windows/locks Work, EX Emblem missing, Windshield Washer Hoses Snapped off from Hood and the liquid Reservoir also leaks, Valve Cover gasket leaked a little bit, Engine ran wonderfully, and that's all i can think of for now.
Regular MAINTENANCE I did after Purchase!
Only Castrol GTX High Milage half Synthetic Oil Changes(Green container)
Only K&N Oil Filters when changing oil
Serviced Tranny once about 10k Miles ago

Thank you!

Damn perfect technical OP.
Anyways, you already know what you need. So what is the real question here?
- Go rent a compression gauge and do the test.
- If you plan to turbo/supercharger/procharger than you might as well rebuild it one time and do it right.
- For valve lash you can find those specs and instructions in the helms manual, google hondahookup.
- Skunk2 makes clutches? Did not know that.
- Whats wrong with your hinges? Search on here for the guide to add power windows/locks
- Don't upgrade injectors until you're ready to boost.
- What are you looking to do with your car in terms of suspension?
- Rear disk brakes can be had at your local junkyard, grab everything from an integra.
- Paint job your business
- Short shifter your business

Thanks for the insight
Based off what you know about the car, do you think it would be worth it to re-bondo or buy a new shell. And because the brake pads are from a 95' Del Sol, how much of the front end do you think is Del Sol?
any critics out there that don't like the idea or parts I chose? or maybe parts I forgot about??

One comment from the picture, that is a short ram air intake not a cold air intake. Cold air intake (CAI) goes into the fender and is a lot more maintenance but does get cooler air into the engine. Also the CAI needs a sock to prevent water getting to the filter.
If you want to find out if there is previous frame damage, you can see if a body shop would take a look at it for a small fee and give you the low down.
If there is any frame straightening evident, I would suggest a different shell. Unibody frames are never the same after they get crinkled. If it was predominately outside pieces or parts easily replaceable with some welding (i.e. radiator support) then it should be a decent shell to work with.
The other issue with the title status is the car will never have full value no matter how much money you drop into it. A lot of value is lost with "rebuilt" status and can never be recovered as far as I know.
Most people I know will take a worse looking car for normal status over a better looking car with rebuilt if they are planning on putting money into any restorative work. The choice is yours though.

Anyone got an idea what combo parts would be best for a D16z6 build that can be Supercharged and have a Good sized Turbo.. Or maybe just a turbo or supercharger... reading about having both is giving me a headache
too many Dyno hours and than numbers to crunch!

92-95 or go home, agree 100% OP. Only reason I figure its a good idea is because i wanna sell it eventually and the 6th gens are worth 2x the 5th gens except maybe the hatchback.
p.s. Your post looks great Ron wasn't joking
I have a family friend that will let me use his dyno/shop for a pretty good deal so I'm not too worried about tuning.. My thing is that's a lot of compression in those cylinders and I can't decide what parts to use during my Rebuild, I only really have experience with Eagle rods specs.. anyone got any other part ideas?
And thanks the post took some time to type up, I wanted us to all be on the same page

First of all Thanks for all the quick responses! Still wondering what pistons/rods would be best?
Anyone got an Idea?? Anything reputable you can suggest would be helpful, so I can have a better base when researching.
is my best friend.
@Tony
I will get some more pics up in a couple days, I have Tuesday and Wednesday off and will do it than.

vitara pistons and eagle rods is the tried and tested way.
Fancy first post aside.
You want Vitara pistons for what? You have no idea why you need them nor any goals for the car. Nor do you have any idea what supporting mods you need to run them.

There's a bunch of information on this forum about what mods to use to reach certain goals. The links in grumblemarc's sig is helpful. it also might be helpful to look in the FAQ's as well....
It is. Just shows you someone needs to stop pipe dreaming and talking and hunker down and get to reading for the next few months.
then build it and see how it goes, I bet he can make one hellufa DIY based on his writing skills
Yeah, it's going to take more than a couple months of reading and saving
I agree I need to read those, I think I've watched every video on YouTube
I also need to put pics of the bondo on here..
Does anyone have any other General Advice based off the first post?

I would make sure body chassis is straight. Usually someone will tell you if something is wrong when having an aligment done at a shop
Right, spend time and money on an unknown block only to find out its not worth building plus end up with more junk at the house. Not something I wanna do.
