Open the bleeder. Push the clutch down. Leave the pedal in the down position. Fill the cup. Pull the pedal up by hand. See if that sucks in the fluid.

You can leave the bleeder open. Pump it a million times. Keep the cup full.

Or use a vacuum pump on the bleeder while the pedal is in the down position.

Priming the MC while its out of the car speeds this up. But...you can get it to go using my tips too.

Also...use a 1 man speed bleeder. Don't use the pump/hold method. It's dumb...and you'll be there all day. Life aint a game.

You can make a speed bleeder wjth a water bottle and vacuum hose. Slightly less weird and less awkward to hold than a sexual enhancement product.

Have you adjusted the master cylinder? You probably have too much freeplay. You need about 1/2-1" freeplay after the clutch is completely and properly bled. I'm guessing the pedal is currently limp for most of the movement. It needs to only be limp for about 1/2-1" of movement.

The adjustment is done via the nut and rod (sexual innuendo) that attaches to the pedal.

What kind of clutch do you have?
