Hey guys, just wondering if the flywheel/clutch & etc should have a cover/case? Im assuming it must but why would anyone ever leave it off? I just bought the car, and while searching for an oil leak (oil pan gasket), I discovered it. Also, would anyone know where to get one? I looked on ebay and didn't see anything but I didnt exactly know what to search for. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

"inspection cover" or "flywheel cover" or "flywheel dust cover" et al.

not sure what engine you have.

It "should" have one but it's not a big deal if it's not there. I haven't had one on my car for nearly 10 years now.

 

Probably a transmission from a 92-95 on a 96-00. Cos you need to remove the flywheel cover so the transmission could fit.
