Replacing ECU
Hi,
I have a P1382 on my 1998 Honda Accord 4dr LX, 2.3 l, 4cyl, 5spd, so I ran the diagnostic test in the 1998-2002 service manual. It said that I should replace my ECU, so I ran a search on www.car-part.com.
My question is: Does it matter if I buy a part for an EX, or a 1999 if the ECU part numbers match up?
Thanks

You will want to use a PCM that was for your drivetrain. There will be slight differences in programming between AT an MT cars as well as the differences between A1, A4 and A5 engines.
