Hello everyone, I just finally got the plate on my D.A 1990 was so happy i can take her to the street! So i was driving her around the street and so no problems at all then all of a sudden while the car was still it just turn off I'm thinking could be battery so we gave it power but it wasnt it, it trys to turn on but doesnt idk why. Then my friend said could be out of gas since my gas gauge doesnt work so we bought a tank and fill it up so as we was puting gas on the D.A we try to turn on but nothing. My friend said it could be the gas pump since he didnt hear the gas going in the engine, couldn't check the car out since it got dark hopefully tomorrow I can see what is wrong but any ideas? What could it be?? Any idea would be greatful! Just my luck couldnt even drive her around...

 

You should be able to hear the pump prime when you turn the key on before you start it, but more info would help, does it crank when you try to start it, what have you checked... the more the better.

 

same thing happened to me, it was the ignition coil.
