1993 accord no brake lights.
The brake lights don't come on at all on my 93, the small lights fuse is good and the relay has no corrosion on it. The bulb sockets don't have corrosion either so I think it's gonna be the brake light switch right? Never changed one before so can someone help a guy out?
above the brake pedal there is a nut on the back side of the switch (theres two, the one in hte front is stationary), i think its a 17. loosen the nut, remove the wire off of the back of the switch and spin the switch out...

2. If you have a voltmeter or test light, unplug the 2P connector for the brake light switch. With the voltmeter's black lead touching chassis/body ground, touch the voltmeter's red lead to Wht/Yel wire; there should be approximately 12 volts. Wht/Yel wire is a wire with white colored insulation and a yellow stripe running through it.
3. If there is power at the Wht/Yel wire; with the brake light switch's 2P connector still disconnected, use a jumper wire between the 2 wire terminals of the 2P connector (Wht/Yel to the Grn/Wht wires). Does the brakes lights come on?
4. If the brake lights didn't come on in step #3 and there was power in step #2, you can also test for power at the left and right failure sensors and the bulb connectors.
In fact, you can test for power first at the bulb connectors, with a jumper wire connector to the brake light switch 2P connector (or just have someone press on the brake pedal with the 2P connector plugged back in).
5. If there is power at the bulb connector, then check the ground wire at ground location G701 in the rear.

1. With the exception of the high mount brake light; the other rear bulbs serve as both taillight and brake light, and use dual filament bulbs.
There is a chance that the bulbs need replacement. One scenario: It may have been one side and the high mount was also out for awhile, and you only noticed no brake lights when the last one went out.
2. The cruise control issue may or may not be related.
