Default D16y8 oil smell?

Now that its summer time i got my windows open and i notice alot on decelleration i got a burning oil smell, i also notice it when i first start the car and back up, it doesnt go through a whole lot of oil, maybe a quart every 3000 miles , i dont notice any smoke, and i usually shift at around 4k rpms could valve seals be gettin bad?

Forgot to add that there is leaks, seems lik the vtec selonoid leaks as usual along with the dizzy o ring and possibly the rear main seal

So, why not change the seals?

You are probably burning oil. Inspect valve seals and thatll let you know. If not that, your rings are shot. Why are you shifting so high? Shift lower man.

You know there are oil leaks, and where they are, but you haven't fixed them? Is this a trick question?

Lol no not a trick question i know i should fix them but they dont seem to be leaking bad and the car doesnt go through a whole lotta oil just figured id save on fixing the leaks cause i wanna drop a b series in, i shift at 4k sometims not all the time
