Default Stroker H22 Question

I'm currently in the process of constructing a Stroker H22. First and foremost I was especially inspired to start this build about 3 months ago when I first came across PocketRocketsRacing's 2.7L Build.

Before this I was running a Fully Built Euro R, Skunk2Pro'3 Full Ferrea Headpackage (Titanium Dual valve springs, keepers, Retainers, Valves), CNC Port-n-Polish, 3 angle Valve Job, using a H-to-K Adapter running an RBC K Series INtake and a 70mm throttle body...i intend on keeping this head and have put it to the side for later use.

My issue is that I intend on doing the Machine work for the Bottom end myself, and was wondering if anyone has done or HAD it done and had any pics I could reference? I intend on using Long rods so I know i'm going to need a deck plate and that's MAINLY what I needed to see, any visual cues at ALL would be greatly appreciated. Just for ***** and giggles i'll post my current parts list.

H22a4 bare Block
M.I.D Sleeves
Crower 100mm Stroker kit Crank w/55mm Mains (Billet)
Billet Rods
Wiseco Custom 13.5:1 Pistons
Moroso External Dry Sump Oil Pump system
Kaizen Speed Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit

I'm bought up on parts, last part of the task is to get visual cues on what I should be doing to the Block as far as adding a Deck plate, i'ma capable machinist, but I can admit to never having done THAT before, And I will be using a 92mm off-set bore.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

I only know one guy personally that did something similar. I think his was a 2.6 though.
I think his SN is something like Mr 2.6
His name is Scott. Collective racing out of Tucson AZ. good dude.

I wonder if the OP is still around lol

my question is why would you go with such a big bore and risk the offset? You can purchase bigger cranks that will provide you with the amount to make it up.

Sorry to be a dumb, but what do you refer with the "offset" and what is the risk.

what I mean is why would you run a 92mm bore off set instead of running a larger crank size to off-set the bore diameter.

Basically run 90mm standard bore no offset and run a 103 or 106 block?

They're harder and more expensive to deal with when it comes to machining and custom rods and pistons.

Also with current technology they're current builds that have a 90mm bore x 100mm stroke that are producing 360hp on an h series

This is how I understand it. You can only go so big on the bore size before the start running into each other causing head gasket sealing Issues. So by offsetting the bores slightly, you can run a larger bore safer. An offset wristpin may be used to keep rod angle geometry in check.
The VW vr6 engine has offset cylinders. Its a v6 but the "V" is so narrow (15 degrees) , it's more like an inline 6 than a v6.

increasing displacement with bore size is usually preferred. Stroking significant amounts starts putting more internal strain on the engine And starts to mechanically limit the reliable rpm.

Sounded like a cool build. I wonder if it ever got finished.

Thanks!
Now I understand what you mean with "offset".

And how far you can go without any offset on an "H"?

I know B-series go with bores up to 86mm, which are 5mm over (3 over if a B20), and haven't heard anybody speaking about offset the cylinders.

The most I have seen is a 90mm but i think the most possible is 90.5mm
