Hi Guys ...Here some bad pic of my new 2014 Si . This is by far the best Honda I had . I picked up the car with 7 miles on the clock . Now it has about 270 miles . I'm driving it very slow to break in..

Welcome. Wish the picture quality was better - doesn't really do the car justice! ;-)

Here's some pics of the 2014 Pearl Black SI I picked up. Only thing I've done to it is the Tint. Pretty Stoked! Runs great. And I personally love the way the new ones look!

Thinking of purchasing one but I'm leaning more towards the 4 door? How's the gas mileage in them, shifting, ride?

Thanks guys ..and sorry for you the bad pic ..AAhhh the black Si is amazing .I was using an old tablets's cam .
..

....I do a lot of city driving and my average is 27 MPG. I'd advice you to test drive the Si and take your time when you do .I love this new Si and I picked up the 4 door cause people ride with me .I like both but I needed the 4 doors. The shifting is very smooth . Every car I had ,had 5 speed ,so I'm not used to having the extra gear (6th) so I tend to forget to shift into 6th..
..
My first mod will be lowering the car . I'm not in a rush for you it though. I e mailed pro civic and asked for recommended application for my car .. They suggested megan racing ez street coilovers ..

I test drove both the coupe and the sedan multiple times and decided being that I don't have kids the coupe was it! Depends on lifestyle, really. And actually the coupe isn't THAT bad on leg room. As far as shifting goes, it's a super short from 1 thru 5! You can cycle through those in a matter of seconds. And you can tell just with normal acceleration the car wants to be in the 4-5k ratio all the time! Second gear is fantastic! 4th to 5th at 4k is 47mph. And cruising in 6th at 60mph you can drop it back into 5th and have great acceleration. Hands down a fun vehicle!

Oh and the ride is great, I think Honda tightened up the suspension a bit, but it's still super smooth. Corners aren't a problem. Not much roll at all. If any.

How low are you planning? I see maybe an inch or so at most with the 18's. 1 1/8 maybe?

Yeah an inch or a little low . I don't want it to be too low since the car is my DD . I do notice the suspension is very tightened and I like it this way. I wonder how the new one compare with last's year. Prob the same handling wise ...At some point I'd like to go autocross before the upgrade and after and see ..
