Icon7 GRC CRX @ B18C6 *soon-to-be-turbo'd*

Hy, my name is Simon and I'm a car enthusiast in car hatin' Switzerland.
I decided to put up a thread about my project, next to my '11 sti, a '91 Honda CRX Si dedicated track car.

I went through different cars, all hondas just until when a bougth my STi SWP sedan. hgh, the guys in my crew are still pissed..

car history:
started with a Honda CRX, modded it sligthly.
then I had an Honda Integra Type-R with the B18C6 engine.

After that I went for the hothatch CTR FN2

Today i have a WRX STi and a Legacy as my daily

I'm building the CRX with my cousin who's a mechanic (50/50 ownership). Working an office job i learned a lot from him and i'm able to do a big part of the work myself.

The story started years ago. what was planned to become a street legal fun car for track use (a tall order in car hating switzerland) turned into a track only black hole for money.

testing was in March last year followed by the official roll out in April.
The car was running for the last season. we did a few trackdays and everything went great. it's a nice accomplishment when the car just holds up w/out any part failing.
we had a aluminium cage in it with single door braces and single cross member in the rear. in August last year we went for a full steel cage for better rigidity.

Thx

you're right. the diffuser is not mounted yet. We will have to build a new catback with new mounting points once the turbo is in.

We already did this in my buddys DC2. Exhaust on the far right:

the Integra already has a straight setup after the rear axel, we only had to go higher.
i exspect the CRX to have less space. but we have something up in our sleeve.
