Got an f23a1, i need like a guide or just some instructions on how to remove the upper intake manifold and clean the egr. I'm throwing a p0401 code which is insufficient flow. Looks like a bish :x

Also, maybe a guide on cleaning the idle air control valve?

Yup FAQ covers F23. Remove upper plenum, clean EGR port, install new gasket, reinstall upper plenum.

 

I can't seem to find them. All guides with pics and actual info are 90-97, or the v6 6th gens.
I need the 4cyl f23 upper intake manifold removal to clean the egr port on it

 

Its the one that is not labeled with a year, as it has both 94-97 and 98-02. Look through the threads, not the titles.

 

Remove the throttle and cruise cables, 6 plenum bolts, the 2 on the egr valve, clean away! It's very simple.
