1990 honda civic Si ZC wont start
Last year the car would stall once it reached operating temperature. I replaced the distributor due to a TDC code. THE CAR RAN FINE. I parked it for the winter. I pulled the car out in february and it wouldn't start. My timing is correct. I have spark, fuel and compression.
I double checked the grounds on the engine. The gas was fine but I drained and refueled anyways. I also tossed in a new battery for good measure. Not so much as a sputter.
Well all that leaves is air, lol.
Seriously: air, fuel, fire, and the timing/compression to make it all work is all that is required in the formula for combustion. I'd be willing to bet that your spark, while there, is weak enough not to actually light off the air fuel mixture.
How did you check for fuel? Sometimes injectors will gum shut after a while, and even though you have good gas at the rail, there will be sporadic or non-existent fuel in the cylinder.
