88 Prelude 2.0 si 4ws ball joints same as 87 jdm?

88 Prelude 2.0 si 4ws ball joints same as 87 jdm?
My 1987 Honda prelude (import from Japan) needs the rear lower ball joints replaced. I'm having issues finding parts for that specific year, i'm wondering if the usdm 88 si/4ws is the same(enough) as my jdm 87 si/4ws that they have the same ball joints since 87 was a cross over year?
I'm almost certain the chassis doesn't change till '90 but just looking for confirmation.
