My problem is only on the drivers side. I can see water "running" in behind and above the electrical box (behind parking brake) where there is a 90 degree inside corner. Only happens when it rains. I sealed in the wheel well as best I could. I thought the hood release cable was the culprit but apparently not. There is a dent in the windshield trim molding - I don't know if this seal is really functional or simply cosmetic. Can this be the problem? I haven't been able to determine at what position - from hood to top of windshield - the water starts leaking. Any help appreciated!

 

have you had the windshield replaced , or has it been replaced lately , a very quick way we do it at the dealer is to spray "spray nine9"(soapy water ) on the area and blow it with compressed air and find the bubbles

 

Windshield was replaced about five years ago. Leak began earlier this year. Hopefully I can try to locate it this weekend.

 

sounds like faulty windshield replacement from a few years ago.. contact whomever replaced it.
