Is my fuel gauge meant to go down to empty while the car is off? mine stays where it was. also
I drove 300 km and my fuel gauge went down to just above empty, I thought i would've at least used 35L of fuel considering my fuel tank is 45 L
I fill up only 25 liters and it makes me stop, leaving 20 L in the practically empty bit.. is my fuel gauge fualty

 

mine stays in the same place. the gauge tends to fluctuate when you get under a half tank. you'll notice if you take a left turn the gauge will go up. (sender is more toward the right side of the car)
